  • Monitor pedestrian pathway with improved lighting and better crosswalks to ensure it is working as planned.

  • Widen Highway 2 to four lanes from south of Far Reserve Road to Fairchild Street.
  • A new east side service road, with sidewalk.
  • Removal of all direct access driveways.
  • Extending Jimmy Roberts Road from Highway 2 to Cemetery Road.
  • Widening and paving of Far Reserve Road, Wilson Charles Drive and Jimmy Roberts Road.
  • Widen Highway 2 to four lanes from north of Bigstone to Boardman Street, including widening and paving of key intersecting minor streets.
  • Install turning lanes at key intersections north of Boardman Street

  • Install traffic signals when warranted at Hildebrand Drive and Brown, Boardman, Beaver and Cessna Streets.
  • Paint lines, arrows, crosswalks and stop lines
Access

Access

  • Construct internal subdivision road (working with Lac La Ronge Indian Band) to provide access to homes along the highway.
  • Remove driveways after subdivision road is built.
  • Extend service road on east side of the highway to Joe Bell Street. Remove existing driveways.

Miscellaneous Improvements

  • Install streetlights from Far Reserve Road to Jimmy Roberts Road and from Bigstone Road/Frances Roberts Street to Boardman Street.
  • Install lights at all key intersections north of Boardman Street.
